What We Believe

God: We believe in God the Father, the infinite wisdom, goodness and love, creator of heaven and earth, and also all things visible and invisible.

Jesus Christ: We believe in Jesus Christ, His son our Lord and Savior, who for us and our salvation lived and died and rose again and lives evermore. We believe that Christ is the head of the Universal Christian Church, which includes all believers, salvation and abundant life are to be found alone in Christ, our only Savior. Salvation rests upon belief in Jesus Christ.

Holy Spirit: We believe in the Holy Spirit, who takes on the things of Christ and reveals them to us, renewing, confirming, and inspiring the souls of men, the Holy Spirit calls, gathers, enlightens and sanctifies all Christians and keeps them in true faith. All who trust in Jesus as their personal Savior shall have the Holy Spirit as their constant companion.

The Bible: We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inerrant,  inspired, authoritative word of God given for instruction, inspiration and guide to man to convey the knowledge of God’s love and the way of  salvation.

Man: We believe that man was created in the image of God, and through the fall of man into sin, he separated himself from God and is in need of rebirth. It is not the will of God that anyone should perish, but yet whoever believes in Christ shall be saved and shall have everlasting life.

The Trinity: We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

The Lord Jesus Christ:
We believe in the deity of Christ in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

Redemption: We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

The Resurrection: We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
